Post one link. Every applicant screens themselves.
You only pay the full file on the ones you keep. Here's the whole flow, start to finish.
Post one link
Create a reusable pre-check link in your Vault, tied to the role — CDL or non-CDL. Drop it on your careers page, or email it straight to applicants.
Every applicant runs their own
They open the link, enter their license, and sign the consent — no account, no password. We host the whole thing, FCRA authorization included.
You see the record
Clean Kansas drivers cost you nothing beyond the pre-check. Out-of-state, or a record that needs a deeper pull, escalates to the full MVR automatically — still only on the drivers you're looking at.
Move the keepers forward
One click, and the full driver-qualification file kicks off for that driver — the full MVR and everything else. The washouts never cost you more than the pre-check.
Simple, and it matches the Vault exactly.
You screen cheap up front and only pay for the full file on the drivers you actually move forward.
| Pre-check per applicant · the cheap look | from $12 |
| Escalates to the full MVR only when a record needs it — out-of-state or a deeper pull | $12 + state fee at cost |
| Move a driver forward → the full file charged only on the drivers you keep | $34 non-CDL · $134 CDL |
| The link your reusable pre-check link | $10 / month |
State record fees (e.g. Kansas $16.70) are passed through at cost, never marked up. A clean Kansas driver is the whole $12 — no MVR fee if the Kansas check clears.
About two minutes.
- In your Vault, open Settings → Invite links.
- Turn on Reusable link — the kind every applicant can open and start their own check.
- Pick the position — CDL Driver or Non-CDL DOT Driver. That tells us which full file to build when you move someone forward.
- Name it (optional) — e.g. “Spring OTR hiring” — and set an expiration or a max number of uses if you want.
- Click Create open link. You'll get a shareable URL.
- Post it or send it. Drop the URL on your careers page, or email it to applicants. That's it.
Hiring for two kinds of drivers? Make two links — one for CDL, one for non-CDL — and post each on the matching job. Each link builds the right file automatically. One kind of driver, one link; two kinds, two links.
What's true about the pre-check.
A fast look — not a hiring decision
The pre-check helps you decide whether to run the real MVR. Your hiring decision rides on the full record you pull when you move a driver forward — never the cheap pre-check.
Never a false pass
If a record can't be confirmed, you get “needs review” — never a green light you didn't earn.
We own the consent
Your applicants sign the FCRA authorization and disclosure on our hosted link. You never hand-roll it.
